Make your own bird puppet to carry in the parade! Bird puppets are simple paper mache portraits of local birds. Be sure to learn your bird’s song too (this site helps)!
Here’s a simple and fast technique for making a basic bird shape with newspaper, masking tape, tissue paper and white glue.
